Trip to Gold Coast - Part 2

Finally arrived at Coolangatta Airport, Gold Coast waktu pagi. Time zone kat sini dalam 2 jam awal dari Malaysia. As usual, kena isi form dan lalu Imigresen. Before sampai, I ada baca few blogs kata Imigresen Australia sangat sangat strict, so kitaorang pun memang dari Malaysia satu makanan pun tak bawa. Tapi ada jer yang bawa, tak tahu macam mana diaorang lepas or declare ke apa. So, sampai kat counter, dia stamp passport, ingat kan dah clear. Sekali kena panggil kat tepi untuk further inspection. Kena letak semua barang - luggage, handbag, etc kat atas panel tu then officer bawa anjing untuk inspect. Bag yang lock pun kena buka juga. After awhile officer dah puas hati, baru dapat release.

Keluar kat lobby airport, cari toilet untuk refresh. Toilet tak ada air paip! Haha so before you enter the toilet, boleh beli drinking water kat vending machine atau spare la botol kosong dalam bag. Good thing is, toilet dia sangat bersih dan tidak berbau.

Kat sini sewa MPV, don't ask sebab kawan adik yang arrange our transportation and accommodation (stay rumah sewa diaorang). Rules kat sini tak banyak different dengan Malaysia, except that the enforcement very strict especially on road safety.

Sementara tunggu pick up, jalan jalan dalam airport and jumpa satu cafe ni. Pastry dia seriously looks tempting. Since belum breakfast, order ham sandwich, masa nak bayar baru teringat nak tanya, cashier kata ham tu pork! Hahahaha sebab selalu ingat chicken ham, so semua ham pun chicken lah kononnya. Beware ye korang, kena rajin bertanya.

Our first destination - Harbour Town Outlet Shopping Centre. Konsep macam JPO, harga for certain brands ada yang murah even when u dah convert to MYR. Kat sini u boleh beli prepaid card, mostly kitaorang guna untuk whatsapp dan update IG. Nasib baik masa tu belum ada IG story. Data yang ada tu pun cukup jer sepanjang kat sana, siap on hotspot untuk share.

Whole day di Harbour Town, balik rumah rest coz esok nya nak keluar awal pagi. By the way, kitaorang stay kat Brisbane, so perjalanan around 1 hour juga. Along the way tu, just enjoy the scenery yang sangat lah cantik. Langit biru, matahari terik tapi tak panas, angin pun sejuk jer. Highway kat sana for bus ada lane sendiri tau - for timing reason la kot which is very good.

Trip to Gold Coast - Part 1

This has been veryyy long ago, like 2 years back which now only I decided to blog. Reason coz I've seen Australia is now quite a popular destination for Malaysian. So, here we go!

Trip to Gold Coast ni tak plan pun, adik and her group nak visit kawan diaorang yang study kat sana. Then terfikir la, why not join diaorang. Right on time, Air Asia on sale! Return flight at very affordable price tau (below RM800), cuma part baggage tu tak ada choice kena add-on. One thing, bila u book for a flight, please update your email from time to time. Macam kes I, flight re-time, tapi nasib baik dapat complimentary untuk change date, free of charge. Tak silap kalau nak FOC kena ambil insurance dgn AA masa u all beli ticket. In-flight food, beverage, baggage tolong la add on masa beli ticket. Jangan sesekali set tak apa, kat airport nak makan banyak, atas flight nak tidur. Baggage pun sama, jangan kedekut ambil load besar, kalau tak masa nak balik nanti berpeluh la nak adjust barang, nak add load pun mahal dah masa tu.

Flight Air Asia X ni besar tapi seating dalam tu faham faham la kan.. Kalau ada extra duit, boleh upgrade ke flat bed, selesa lepastu dapat priority to board and turun. Perjalanan 7 jam, so kalau u all ada order F&B, best la boleh chill makan relaks then baru tidur.

Oh ya! Untuk masuk Australia, u all kena apply Visa. I pun google jer agent ni but very recommended, fast response, fast approval, and after service response pun fast! Boleh email Cik Intan at eta.australia@yahoo.com , then u kena provide:

1- Copy passport (Must be valid for at least 6 months from the departure date)

100 DORAEMON Secret Gadgets Expo 2014.

The expo held at Viva Home Shopping Mall from December 14 until March 23, so this week will be your last chance. Tiket boleh beli through online or kaunter, RM25 for adult, RM15 for kids (4-12years old), disabled person, children under 3yo and senior citizens (above 60yo) are entitled for free admission. Siapa yang around my age mesti lah gila dengan kartun Doraemon, even until now, still screened on tv. Siap baca komik sampai nipis muka surat tu, hari hari dok belek. Eh, memories! Bila ada expo macam ni, we're looking forward to go, bawa senbum and senbim, at least senbum will get exposure on other character of cartoons instead just Ultraman Max.

Dalam exhibition area ni, ada over 100s Doraemon being displayed, and all the secret weapons, the friends, families, etc. Kat dalam ni, not only kids yang excited, tapi adults pun jadi excited sebab semuanya cute, cantik, and for me, it worth the price. Jalan slowly, pergi one area to another, boleh rest kejap, and before keluar, boleh la singgah beli the merchandise, singgah kejap kat games booth, and refresh at the cafe/food court (boleh masuk free). Early this morning, dapat wa from sasa, dia nak resipi pasta. Kemain pagi lagi dah plan nak masak apa. Rupanya, harini besday abang ipor kita. Happy Birthday, Abang Long! May Allah SWT bless u with longevity, good health and wealth. Amin.

Ok, back to the story, senang jer nak masak ni. Semuanya instant. Tapi to tell u, dulu before Ramly keluar ready made minced beef, berpeluh kat dapur nak cincang daging. Dapat pula chief chef yang cerewet macam ibu kita tu, selagi tak lunyai lah daging tu, selagi tu dok cincang. Sekarang ni senang mudah cepat tepat! Tolak jer trolley tu, masuk barang, balik rumah campak jer semua dalam kuali, SIAP!

Korang boleh substitute kan spaghetti tu dengan family dia yang lain macam pasta, macaroni, etc tapi for me, angel hair from San Remo best sebab senang nak makan. Shell pasta pun ok juga, boleh makan dengan sudu, suitable for kids.

Kalau onion, boleh pakai bawang besar merah, tapi kalau bawang holland lagi sedap dan wangi. Tak percaya, boleh cuba. Minced beef selalu beli Ramly, tapi rasanya kat supermarket banyak dah brand, ayamas pun rasanya dah ada. Any brands also can lah, janji beef. Reason pakai beef sebab manis daging. Haha ok dah pelik manis daging. Memang sedap juga kalau letak sausage or chicken, tapi beef ni lebih sedap rasa dia. Tak faham kan? Abaikan. Ikut suka korang la nak beef or chicken or sausage or fish. Janji korang rasa bahagia, ok.

Sos prego pula, mahal kan? Tak payah la beli botol kaca tu, beli yang tin pun dah cukup, selalunya I mix the flavor, contoh, merah+hijau+kuning. Sebab nanti the sauce become more pekat and sedap yumm yumms! Button mushroom brand yang biasa guna is Rex. Veges macam biasa campak jer any yang korang suka.

Cara Masakan:

Rebus spaghetti (kalau boleh titis sikit olive oil, or minyak masak biasa), then tos, tinggal tepi.

Panas api, masuk minyak (preferably olive oil), tumis bawang, masuk daging, masuk sos, tambah sikit air, tumbuk sikit biji lada hitam (ikut tahap pedas mana yang korang nak), masuk veges, button mushroom, DONE!

Korang pilih la nak gaul sekali or nak asingkan, ikut selera yer. Ok, senang gilos! Gambar bawah contoh yang I dah masak 2 tahun lepas. Kihkih! Kalau nak nampak rajin, cantik and wangi, renjis sikit serbuk daun parsley, basil pun boleh juga. Up to u. Selamat mencuba. :D

After years of ups and downs, finally it's over. Today is such a beautiful day, Alhamdulillah for another chance to make today a better yesterday. Praise be to Allah, the Cherisher and Sustainer of the worlds; My utmost gratitude to my family and friends, for giving me the strength to keep going, for giving me hope when I discourage.

Itu copied dari status FB pagi tadi. Seriously, the most amahhzing feelings, sebenarnya bercampur, lega, happy, sedih, etc etc. Orang kata tears of joy gitu! Haha. Finally after berapaaaa tahun, semuanya sudah berakhir. Lepas ni takde dengar orang cakap "lamanya study" "aikk tak habis lagi" "bila nak habis" banyakkkknya cakap! Persoalan macam gini takkan habis sebenarnya. Sebab, confirm lepas ni soalan lain pula muncul dan terus lagi terus lagi dan lagi dan. =="

At first, masa tu fikir kalau further study dapat pergi tempat baru, new environment new life lah konon. I'd like to go for finance, tapi as usual ayah demand for accounting. Diploma pernah apply accounting, tapi rezeki dapat kat banking. Sebab ayah nak sangat I go for accounting, then apply and rezeki further in Shah Alam. Duration course jadi about 3-4yrs, sebab switch course tambah pula ada few carry papers. Haha.

Dugaan dari mula sampai habis belajar, until at one point memang rasa nak give up. Tapi masa tu lah, family and close friends bagi support untuk teruskan juga. Dari first semester, ada jer dugaan. To tell you, it's not easy for me to adapt with the new environment since I got no basic, but I trust myself and keep on going. But not everything is dugaan, ada masa exciting juga, seronok belajar benda baru, and the best thing is to know the path of ur career.

So, to anyone out there, yang on-going study, and feel like giving up, please don't do so. Think deeply how far u have come, do not simply turn it down. Trust urself, think about ur parents and loved ones, I'm not telling you it's going to be easy, but trust me, it's going to be worth. Don't let negativity rent space in your head. Think and act positively. Be a positive person, because life is too short to feel bad about urself. Enjoy every bits of it!

Kerja.Lagi.

Alhamdulillah, today I'm getting better. Baru lepas kena panggil menghadap MD for the first time. Entah apa lah I merapu dalam bilik tu, dah la tak berapa faham sebenarnya dia cakap coz he's from Yamen, so faham lah english ada campur sikit arab but nevermind, angguk angguk dan senyum sahaja tanda faham. Haha. Tadi dia banyak stress on HR, pasal filing, employees' attendance, etc etc. He even ask me to monitor employees punya in/out record which I rasa pelik kat situ. I'm the first person yang masuk office as early at 8am, working hour start at 9am, tapi kadang tu, until 10am, sorang pun belum check in lagi. Haha. Siap korang lepas ni. *macam berani nak garang*

Tapi, tu lah, bila dah di beri tanggungjawab macam pengawas, we've to be fair to both employee and employer, tak boleh lembut sangat tak boleh tegas sangat. My rule is simple, tak kisah lah apa yang korang nak buat, as long as u do ur work sebaiknya. Cheyyy, nampak dah gaya macam handle company sendiri. Haha. Sekali sekala berangan tak salah. Ini lah kelebihan bekerja di company yang kecil, responsibilities besar, kalau company besar, kerja kita tu lebih narrow lah gitu. Apa pun, I'm here to gain as much knowledge and experience as I could. I pun tak tahu for how long nak bekerja dengan company ni, tapi kalau boleh, mesti lah nak stay lama. Lain lah kalau ada greater offer in the future kan, who knows. InshaAllah.

Lunch in office lagi harini, ada balance cheese bread beli kat cs semalam. Dilema dalam hidup bila kerja kat tengah town sebab tak dapat nak beli nasi lemak and kuih muih kat gerai. Tak tahu lah pula kalau ada, tapi I yang belum explore, tapi so far, tak ada. Pagi tadi pun terpaksa lah juga beli nasi lemak kat nc, nasib baik sedap. Tapi takper, pagi tadi dapat tahu ada sorang kawan kerja area sini, so nanti we can have lunch together. Boleh pergi explore kot ada gerai jual lauk pauk ke. Hancussss plan diet seimbang ku!

Work.again.

Hari ke-4 bekerja. Banyak juga nak kena update on accounts, documents, etc etc. Still nak adapt dengan new routines; bangun awal, naik-turun-naik-turun train, fuhhh! Tambah pula dugaan hari ini, sangat sakit kepala mungkin sebab minum Nescafe. Tak tahu lah kenapa dan semenjak bila, everytime I go for Nescafe, confirm kepala sakit sangat! Tapi bila dah tahu tu, still nak minum lah of course, Nescafe-addicts lah katakan, tapi pandai sikit mixed with Milo, jadi Neslo konon. Still, sakit kepala ini terus menganggu diri ku! :( Ada yang kata gastric la migrain la, dulu Nescafe ni bancuh 2 sachets sekali pun no problem punya. Tapi sekarang half sachet pun dah sakit kepala bukan main lagi.

Pasal colleagues pula, office ni kecil jer, tak banyak pun staff, most of them Arab. Ada la Chinese and the only Malay here, izzeMe! Hehe. Diorang ni walaupun tak pandai cakap melayu, and english pun terabur rabur, at least still trying to communicate. Semua baik, siap ajak lunch sekali, but sorry, not the time yet. Alaa, lunch hour pun I stay at office jer. Siapkan kerja, layan movie.

Cakap pasal movie, semalam pergi nonton The Lego Movie, in 3D pulak. To be honest, it was my first time okeh tengok movie 3D. Tak payah nak ekk elehh sangat yer! Excited hokeyy, dah macam Robocop pergi masuk Lego world pulak. Movie ni okay best, kelakar and sesuai lah untuk kanak kanak... errr, and also orang dewasa. Tak terfikir pun yang semua tu hanyalah imagination seorang budak lelaki tentang bapa dia. Ehh! Tercerita plak. Haha. Tapi serious, pergi lah tengok, tak rugi pun. Tapi rasanya, ada antara kita mesti dah boleh expect masa tengok 'Kragle' (senjata) tu, including me sebab bila tengok, eh macam kenal jer bentuk ni, haaaa misteri dokkk? So, pergi tengok yerr! Vaiiiii..
